Episode 117 ~ It All Works Out

Oh, God,” Nathan groaned. “This unreal! I love being inside you…”

She gripped his shoulders hard. So hard that her nails dug into his skin. So consumed by her, by the feeling of joining their bodies, Nathan barely felt the pain. Carrie, he had to keep reminding himself, was new at this. It took everything he had not to put it to her deep and hard. It was like floating or falling or both, that blurred feeling between where his body ended and hers began grew and overtook them both.

“More,” she gasped, “Nay-thin!”

“Yes, oh yes,” Nathan grunted. He drove his thickness deep forcing through her pulsating muscles. She cried out grazing her teeth on his shoulder.

“You okay?” he panted.

“dontstopdontstopdontstop,” she threw her arms over her head, surrendering her body totally to the orgasm threatening to course through her, surrendering to him. Their bodies slick with sweat, they glided over one another. Carrie reached to wipe a bead of sweat from Nathan’s brow a split second before he came. The feel of him filling her nudged her right over the edge and she came undone, bucking her hips, drenching him.

Nathan hovered over her, a dreamy look in his eyes. Gasping and carefully sliding out of her, he gently stroked her cheek with a single finger. Carrie smiled wide and sighed, laughing softly.

“Are you alright?” Nathan asked. He always asked her that.

“Mmm, I…,” More laughter, “I’m trying to think of something to say about… that!” That time had been more instinctual than the others. They were getting into an easy rhythm and more and more, it was taking less and less thought.

” We’re getting good at this.” He stated.

“I’m getting good at it,” Carrie murmured.

“You were always good.”

She smiled sweetly and rolled over onto her side. Tracing a finger over his chest, she followed a trail of sweat that had run down from his neck. He gathered her in the crook of his arm, laying a small kiss on top of her head.

“I’m… happy.” She sighed, more to herself and to him.

“I am too,” Nathan whispered.

“I wish I had a crystal ball.” She said sleepily, settling in beside him, the noises of the city down below, lulling them to sleep.

“Why?” He chuckled.

“So we could see what happens next.” She stated.

“Mmmm, Not me,” he murmured right into her hair and then yawned.

“I don’t need to know everything. Wouldn’t it be nice to know that everything works out?” she wondered aloud.

He leaned up so that he could face her. “Spoiler alert, everything works out..”

“You can’t know that.” She said suddenly very serious.

Nathan wrinkled his forehead, “You just said that you were happy.”

“I am,” she promised, meeting his eyes and kissing him hard on the mouth. “I just want to stay this happy, always”

“Then stay here with me.” He pleaded. “Right here, okay?”

“Okay,” she agreed, crawling on top of him, nipping at his neck.

“Again?,” He pretended to protest. “Carrie, I’m not a machine!”

She giggled. “Okay, it’s late anyway. What time do you suppose it is?”

“I don’t know,” he looked around “my phone fell out of my pants when you yanked them off of me in the living room.”

“I did not!”

“Yeah, you did.” He tickled her. “You could took advantage of me… Twice!”

“Ha ha, You’re welcome!”

Nathan swung his legs around off the bed. Padding naked through her apartment he located his phone in the living room.

“Get mine too?” Carrie called from the bedroom. “It’s on the kitchen counter, I think.”

“Your phone’s dead,” he informed her, crawling back in the bed, reaching across the nightstand to plug both phones and then rooting back under the covers. “It’s 1:30. I really need to sleep.”

Cozying up to Nathan, Carrie had just started to drift off. She’d been thinking about what he said about everything working out and about trying to live in the moment instead of worrying about the future. “You awake?”

“Mmmm, uh huh,” he mumbled back.

“I love you, she yawned.”

Smiling, she stroked her hair and shut his eyes. “I love you.”

Her eyes fluttered shut. Nathan began to snore softly just as Carrie’s phone, having charged enough to turn back on, began dinging repeatedly with missed texts and calls.
